For a number of years I have been trying to make the area around my home, bluebird friendly. I provide nest boxes, food, and never apply chemicals to my lawn. I was very happy this year to have a number of birds and 3 successful nesting pairs.

Very common around the house early in spring, less plentiful near the end of spring.
