It was sad to see the wild horses in 2013. Two years of drought had taken its toll on the food supply and as you can see from the photos the horses were suffering as a result. Such is the reality in Namibia where periodic droughts are not uncommon.

We spent an afternoon at Walvis Bay, photographing primarily flamingos.
